Can You Cross Breed Ducks?

    I have a pekin drake and a muskovee hen, can I cross breed?

    Pekin and a muscovy will result in mule ducks AKA: sterile

    Reason being that when mallard derived breeds (all domestic breeds more or less) cross with a muscovy they are all infertile, like crossing a Horse and a donkey= a mule.

    can you cross pekins and other domestic ducks then. thanks for the info by the way

    yes you can cross a pekin with any other mallard derived breed and they will be fertile
