hello everyone!
We recently had an outbreak of coccidiosis that claimed two of our young hens. We treated the rest with corid for 5 days. Everyone seemed fine, poops were fine so I took them off it yesterday and replaced with electrolytes. Today I’m noticing more black poo again (which is how this started) so now I’m retreating to make sure we do in fact get it all. My question is, can we eat the eggs that come from the hens treated with the corid? I’ve read mixed things. Our hens just started laying during the treatment so it’s kind of a bummer not to be able to use them but we obviously won’t if it’s not a good idea!
