Can you guys sex my 8 week old silkie?

I am guessing boy - I've been able to tell the boys from the girls by comparing them to the other chicks (same age). The boys always had bigger features (bigger eyes, bigger beak, bigger face) and were always more agile than the females.

Silkies are impossible to sex using the "Japanese method" used by hatcheries and many breeders because of their black/mulberry skin, which camouflages the boy parts. Eight weeks is still way too young to tell. At about four to five months, the males will start showing a teensie bit of comb underneath their head fluff. The females rarely will show a comb. Sorry to tell you it's just a waiting game when it comes to these lovely little birds!

I wouldn't try and determine sex of a silkie based on their behavior. Silkie girls will also spar with each other. It's just the way they find their pecking order.
