can you have tag team broodies?

I have my silkie "Momma", and a red sex link they are tag teaming the nest.

when momma moves the sex link will sit... momma comes back and the sex link jumps down.

is this normal?... whats the chances these eggs will incubate?

The same thing happened with my two cochin hens. Suri was the main broody and when she got up to eat etc, Blueberry would get on the eggs. When Suri was done with whatever she was doing, she'd tell Blueberry to move. The hatch date was last Sunday and one chick hatched out of 14 eggs. It died over night though. I was super disappointed.
