Okay i'm new to the whole "Chicken" thing and i was wondering what you do when your flock starts to... "Molt"????????????? I have no idea so please help me

It's not a bad idea to give them a higher protein feed while molting. It gives them a extra push to help with the refeathering process (feathers are made of protein).

Yes - I agree with the previous poster - provide a higher protein feed to help grow feathers back quicker. Plus, make sure that your birds have adequate shelter - they'll be less tolerant of weather extremes.

Unfortunately, I lost almost 200 birds during a hurricane, because it hit when a lot of them were in molt!

Sad....
