Can you house baby mallard ducks in a outside coop?

    I'm new to raising ducks I have a question!
    I have 2 mallard ducklings right now there in a brooder there 2 weeks old! They have coop with a pool and house, I had an old chicken coop I rebuilt into a duck coop. my question is at what age can I move them to outside coop? Thanks an advance! :)

    In cold weather, the longer they can stay indoors and feather out tbe better. I would suspect in S Carolina it doesn't get bitter cold like it does in more northern climates, so give tbem another week and they should be fine to go outside.

    I would say at about 4 weeks when they are fully feathered.

    If your running heat then you will need to wean them off of it......I run it only at night and then zero heat........Being I am in Canada I am not sure of your temperature?
