A few feed stores will carry chicks later in the year but the only
way to get chicks here in CT now is to order them, hatch them
or find someone with chicks.

How many are you looking for and what breeds?

i think most places dont sell them till spring. I have showgirls hatching right now so far 6 maybe 2 more that im only going to keep 2 but im in mass about 45 minutes from springfield,ma.

We are looking for 3 - 5. We have not decided on any particular breed.

I am trying to get the coop in place and get everything in order. I see that some people are getting their day olds next week and that is too soon for me.
