Can you please confirm gender and breed of these two 7wk old chicks.

    I think the first one is a cockerel and the second a pullet.

    They both are cockrels. Mixed breed I think. Assuming they are young. How old?

    At 7 weeks old, both are definitely cockerels.

    Thanks, I thought they were Roos. The first chick is a maron I think due to fluff on legs....but can't work it out. I bought a mix of maron and Sussex eggs to incubate, so I guess it's possible that they are a mix?

    Looks like you for eggs that were Sussex/Marans crosses. Not a combination of pure Sussex and pure Maran.
