pardon if this should be in "what breed or gender is this", I wasn't sure since I don't have the chicks in question, just seeking info.
I'm ordering some Silver pencil rocks (& speckled sussex ans columbian wyandottes) and I've been reading that s.p.r.s are hard to sex until the chest feathers come in, so how are hatcheries selling day old sexed s.p.rs?
Wing sexing? Beak sexing? Vent sexing? How can you tell?

Edit: I found a virtual tour of the hatchery on youtube, appears to be vent sexing.
