You know, that's true...Kool Aid Queen - you'll just have to go get three more girls! You should really have 2 female ducks for every 1 male if they're all kept together. Who knows though, maybe yours will get along great - but if the two boys are always mating with her, she could be seriously injured. Just keep an eye on your gal, okay?

I wondered how many hens to a drake . I thought it would be like 10 to one male..Those blasted drakes are hard on hens that is for sure..

Is their a way you can show a better pic? One with them walking or standirg will be better I am curious to know if they are cuyuga's or runners (the blue one's) can tell better when they are upright.

will try and get some picks for you tomarrow ..

and i was under the understanding to get ducklinga you need both a mom and dad
just like humans to make babies

yeah, to make babies/ducklings you need a mom and dad but just eggs, unfertilized, will come out regularly without a dad...just like humans?

I don't think they'd want to take off with strange ducks and geese. They've lived with humans and each other, that's where their bonds are. They shouldn't really identify all that much wtih strange birds. Plus, runners can't fly anyway.

I have black, blue and spalsh cayugas, they look just like mine.
The black is a male for sure, bill color dead give away, the blue hen is on the right, again bill color, cant see the head of the blue on the left, so that must be the other male?
Dont look like runners at all to me, but I may be wrong hard to tell for sure from the pic. But if I were to say, they do all look like cayugas.

ok hth here are pics i took this after noon ...

The black one is male, you can see his curly drake feather... actually I see two drake feathers... looks like two males. The look almost like hatchery runners... sorta like my Choopiter:
