Can you tell me what my Blue laced Red Splash is? Roo or hen?

This is Nugget born around Feb 18th, 2014. I am wondering what kind of bird I have.

With how red the comb and wattles are I'd say roo...but I could be wrong.

Oh, that'a a rooster all the way!

If you're breeding seriously or showing and he's a Wyandotte, he should be culled from the gene pool for the straight comb--it's a throwback/recessive thing and shouldn't be bred. If you're just breeding backyard layers, he'll be fine.

Well I was pretty sure Nugget was looking like a rooster. I was confused about his comb because it didn't look right for a Wyandotte. He is a lucky bird because he is so sweet, and always begs for my attention. It may save his life from the frying pan. I don't plan on showing birds just having some fun with a backyard flock. Thanks so much for the information.
