can you tell sex at 6 weeks?

I have the option of trying to bye a 6 week old turkey but need to know what to look for. I can't have a tom now. Way too big.
Any advice please?

Boy, at six weeks it's tough especially if you've never had turkeys before so you don't know what they look like comparatively. If there's several poults to choose from and you HAVE to have a hen look for the one that's got the smallest snood, thinner legs, and more hair on their heads. The boys will start going bald about now and will start thickening up a little. If you're getting bourbons the boys will have black lacing and the girls will have white. Other than that, I wish you luck.
