    Any ideas?

At the feed store the man said mallard about the brown duck, but then my daughter went back in for the yellow duckling, and she didnt ask the owner what it was. So I was wondering if anyone can tell what it is?

So it will be white when its grown?

Is pekin a breed of its own or in the mallard family?

Actually I'm thinking the left one is a rouen not mallard. And the yellow is a pekin and it will feather out white. Pekins are a seperate breed, but they descended from the mallard as did the rouen.

Quote:Oh ok I was thinking the marks looked different it looks like she has 2 lines over the eyes instead of one like the mallard.
She has 4 gold/yellow dots on her back side I will have to get a picture so you can see it.
