My sister-in-law just called and said 2 of the baby geese finally got out of the nest. They hit the water and within a few seconds 1 baby went under water and the water swirled. About 5 seconds later the baby popped up and the father took it to shore. The other baby swam to some weeds and they haven't seen it since. There are 5 babies still in the nest.
Her question: What can we do to keep the fish from eating the baby geese? It's like they're just waiting for them to plop down into the water.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

I'm not a goose expert but I haven't heard of a fish eating a gosling maybe a turtle but from what i've seen Geese parents are very protective

My husband and I thought probably a turtle too but sis insisted it was a fish. Catfish or bass. Have both in their lake.
Thank you for your response
