We have 4 chicks in a large plastic tub I had on hand. Looks very similar to the picture. But they are 2 & 3 weeks old & starting to fly around, running & jumping all over the place. Healthy & strong, but I am worried they will get hurt in the tub that now looks pretty small. The 5th chick yesterday came down with wry neck & I'm worried that they are so active they can hurt themselves.
Is this tub too small to grow these girls for 3 more weeks?

It will be a little cramped, but they'll be okay. As soon as they are fully feathered, you can move them outside and give them more space. For the one with wry neck, put some vitamins in their waterer - either chicken vitamins or poly-vi-sol NO IRON.

BTW.........don't use the copy/paste to get pictures in here. Use the insert image button above where you type your post.

Wow, the pictures are the easiest things I've found I can do since the change over. Still can't find half the stuff though.

It takes time, I'm still discovering stuff too. (mostly by accident)
