Almost 2 years ago now I lost my mom to lung cancer, when she was first diagnosed she was in stage 4 of the disease but opted to have chemo to try and beat the cancer. August 15th 2009 was her initial diagnosis date. Early august 2010 the oet scan results came back and told us she had beat the cancer! We were beyond greatful. Words couldn't express how relieved we were. A few days later my moms leg was giving her severe pain so she went back to the dr and had another pet scan.... The results came back and what it showed was unreal. Her cancer had come back in her bones, adrenal gland, lymph nodes, back, ect. She passed away exactly one year to the day she was first diagnosed, August 15th 2010. Before she had been diagnosed her younger sister had colon cancer and beat that so it gave us hope that she could do this. While my mother was sick we found out my aunts cancer came back in several places, On her cyatic nerve, in her lymph nodes, her lungs, now it is surfacing on her skin and she can no longer walk. She will be lucky to have 2 more weeks at this point. This is devistating to our family. My grandmother lost her hubby to lung cancer when I was 19, her eldest daughter (my mom) to lung cancer, and now her baby who will be the same age as my mom was when she passed which is 53. My aunt has 3 daughters, the youngest is 16. My moms death still haunts me to this day, I have struggled with manic depression and had a few nervous breakdowns which required hospitalization. I don't think I can handle another loss. My grandmother will have lost her immediate family in chronological order, I worry about her too. My aunt never drank, smoked or anything and was always fit and very active. My mom and grandfather both smoked, So do I even tho I watched both of them take their last breath I still can't seem to kick the habit, especially now when most days I can't go on without breaking down and crying several times thruout the day. My heart hurts for my aunt, my grandma and my aunts children, not so much her hubby because of his negative comments about my mom when she was dying. Those kids need their mother! If I could switch places with her I would surely do so if it meant she would be able to live. It's extremely hard to handle and I am scared to death of the weeks to come. I can't even push myself to enter a hospital anymore because of everything that has gone on. I need lots and lots of prayers even tho it is probably tooo late for her pray for her family to get thru this please [IMG]

I am really sorry for your losses. I hope that deep down you can find the strength to keep on going. My Brother-in-Law had a very similar situation with his family loosing his father to cancer and then a year later his mother to cancer then a year later his sister passed from an unknown heart problem, she was only 31. Him and my sister both have needed alot of support, prayers and love and they still struggle with their loss and with post traumatic stress disorder from the whole ordeal. I am sending that support, love and prayers your way as well.

I am sorry for your loss and hope for the best for your Aunt. I lost both my grandparents to cancer. My Grandmother when I was 10 and my Grandfather when I was 26. I wanted so badly to help him beat it, but he was tired of living without his wife and died just 6 weeks after being diagnosed.
I will tell you a very odd story about the day I found out my Grandfather had cancer, my husband was walking through a store and just happened to meet a lady that had just found out that same day that she was cancer free. Now, it is a long story so I will try to make it short. She is a realtor and was helping a lady get her house ready to sale and as the realtor walked into the master bedroom she saw a large portrait of a man over the bed and she told the homeowner it would help sale the house faster if it came down. The homeowner however, insisted that it stay up until the house was sold. So the realtor gave in making a comment about how nice the gentleman looked, the home owner commented that it had been taken just a week after they found out he was cancer free after having been diagnosed with stage 5 cancer and sent home with just a week to live. Now the realtor had just been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was set to have her first round of chemo in the next few days. So she said "wow he's lucky" and the homeowner said "No he wasn't lucky we found a doctor with a break through treatment that saved his life". And to make a long story short, she found out what that treatment was and tried it and it worked for her too. Now if you are like me and you wondered how the gentleman did die, two years after being diagnosed he had some simple surgery I think it was gallbladder surgery, anyway the doctor preforming the surgery accidentally hit an artery and he bled to death.

Anyway as I said before I really wanted my Grandfather to do this treatment but he didn't want to live so now I share this story with as many people as I can because I hope it was meant for me to give it to someone who can use it.

    The website is www.chemo.net

Also you can try this. www.discount-essiac-tea.com/index.html I have heard many people swear by it's healing powers.

I hope this helps you. Blessings.
