Candeling question

How do you candle a very dark, very hard shelled brown egg?

Its hard, I use an LED flash light for bcm eggs and its hard to see anything before day 10 to 14. But still very hard I go into a complete dark room also. Good luck. I just candle the day i get the eggs checks for cracks or messed up airbubbles then at day 14 then again at 18 before setting them for lockdown.

I have Welsummers. I use the Brinsea High Intensity Egg-Lume. Costs about $60 bucks if I remember right.
