Ok so I want to get all of your opinions to see if you think I'm going to get any chicks, or if it's a lost cause.
I'm on day 11 and I candled my 8 eggs just now.

I think 3, 5, and 7 look good for sure. Possibly 1, 4 and 6 kind of hard to tell. I woud be concerned about 2, the dark spot is in the wrong place (where the air cell should be). Do you see any movement? Even if you are not sure, don't get rid of them yet. You will know for sure on day 13 +, you wont be able to see much clear space in the eggs. Look at https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=261876 There are some excellant pictures here!

Quote:Oh awesome! I seen some movement in a few of them. But in #2 that darkness will just follow whenever I turn the egg. There is defiantly no air pockets. That one actually scared me when I moved it cause the darkness was just going everywhere.

So I guess that seems I'm down to a possible 7.

    Thank you so much!
