Not as lucky as I thought I was........I'm pretty sure most of the eggs are chickless....but I can't be sure as I've never candled before. I did it with a flashlight. Some of them had a darkness to the center.....but some of them were completely clear. Obviously those ones had no chicks in them right? I think she started sitting on them last Thursday....so it hasn't been that long. Not sure what they are supposed to look like. I looked at a link someone had posted, but I'm still confused. Oh well, I guess we will see in a couple of weeks, huh? She ate a piece of bread and acted like she hadn't eaten for days......she scarfed it down.

tecnically not all the eggs where laid on the same day, plus you never truelly know with eggs. I suggest to look back at them this thursday and look for any signs of developement. You can also mark them with crayons and check for developement later to see if there is anything inside. Hope I helped

Thank you, that does help.

When should I be able to see movement?

I really hope one of the blue eggs took. Then I could get a little EE....my luck it would be a roo though : )

Oh, I wanted to add I finally heard a chicken growl! lol I've heard you guys talk about chickens growling and couldnt imagine what that would sound like, but....WOAH.....demon chicken!!!!!!
