candleing

what day shall i do the candleing and can i do it with a very bright light? i know im asking alot of questions but im new to this and have still got alot to learn.

What kind of eggs? You really don't need to candle at all, they rarely 'explode' if they are bad. I usually check them about day 15 (coturnix) to take out any clear ones before I move them to the hatcher, otherwise I leave them alone unless I'm checking for fertility, which then I'll check them around day 5.
