hello today is is day 20 of the khaki campbell eggs.
inside the egg i see some movement and a lot of blood vessels.
but on the side of the egg where it is empty there are small black dots that i see floating around when i move it.this is on the side where there is no duck.but on the other side it is very dark and i see some movement.
please tell me what this black dot is floating around on the empty side.
    thankyou

I would post in the Incubating and Hatching Chickens section under Raising Backyard Chickens for the best answers. So glad to have you with us.

[IMG] & [IMG] from Alabama. Glad you joined us. I'm not sure what that could be, but as long as you see movement in the eggs & there's no bad odor to them or any liquid seeping out, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Good luck with your hatch [IMG]

I'm not too sure, as we are incubating our first eggs, and only on day 8. Although, I would think it would be mostly dark, with the air pocket. Good luck and Welcome to BYC from BC!
