So I’m on the last few hours of day 17 now, approaching day 18. I candled a few eggs today just to see the progress. When I candle, a lot of the eggs are empty on the bottom/pointy end, or there is a wavy network of veins. However, when I tap the shell, the dark mass moves. These eggs are Easter eggers, and so I can barely see veins through the air cell. There are veins, but I’m confused about the bottom of the egg. Was the temperature low or is it a problem with turning? It’s been a while since I last hatched and checked the bottom, so I’m confused.
Any advice would really help.

Can I see pictures?
Ok, so it’s morning now and the sun is blaring so I’ll candle again in the afternoon, but here’s what I was able to get now:
All my actual candlers broke so I’m using a phone light. One picture is the bottom and the other is the air cell.
Today is day 18, they were set on May 17th at 6 am

Also, most of them are not as empty as this one, however some are. There is definite movement and the veins are not retracting. Humidity has been around 30-40 all hatch. I have a bunch of thermometers and they all read 99-100

So the eggs are hatching now! The latter picture I showed was a malposition, with the pip at the pointy end of the egg. The chick had started to zip but then the other chicks rolled him over! Can he suffocate this way?
There have been a few malpositions this time around, but all have hatched out so far.
