Candling question

I had 6 bantam eggs in the incubator (day 9), 4 of which i candled this evening were clear, two were dark but i could not see any veins. Last time i hatched eggs i could see definite veins when i candled at this stage. Are these likely to be dead embryos as the are no obvious veins. I can see the air sac which is a good size but odd shape (these were shipped eggs). They are 1 Wyandotte egg and 1 Orpington egg so are not dark shelled like my last lot, which were Araucuna.

Hmmmm... Doesn't sound too good. I would give the dark ones a little longer, though. What a shame! I hope you're able to salvage something from the hatch, anyway.

I agree, I always give them a chance. Nature can be strange. Best of luck to you.
