I wish I'd had enough peaches to can this year. My Reliance peach tree produced a handful of fruit this year, and I only managed to wrangle a half dozen peaches from the squirrels who were nesting in the nearby pear tree.

At least I didn't have to deal with flies and bees eating fallen fruit; last year, the windfall peaches drew swarms of flying critters.
