What is the best way to get an accurate temp. in an Incubator? I have had as many as three thermometer in there at once and all three reading a different temp. and I don't trust any of them. What type do some of you use?

I use a styrofoam Little Giant still air. I have hatched so many quail eggs with no problem but not doing to good on silkie eggs plus I got them off ebay, not sure how good they were.

Today I bought an accurite w/ a probe that has a wire so I can just drop it in and it reads humidity as well but how can I find out if its right?

Add the other ones. if its higher then its working properly I believe. someone who has been doing it longer may know the correct answer. i only been doing this for 2 years

How far off from eachother are they?

I have four in one of mine and they all read different from eachother. BUT, they are not that far off from eachother as well.

Like right now here are what they are reading 101.0, 101.2, 101.4, 101.3.

Edited to add: that I have an LG Still Air that has all four thermometers in it.
