This year I am trying to become more independent when it comes to where I get my food. I have an incubator with hens and roosters to supply my eggs for hatching. I have recently traded roosters with a friend of mine to keep the genetics fresh. When the time comes to separate the hens from the roosters I don't want to kill the roosters right away I would Like to make them capon roosters. I know I need to practice on regular roosters at home so I have some questions.
    1. What tools to I need?
    2. What should I feed my capon roosters?
    3. How long till they reach slaughter weight?
    4. What age should I caponize them?
    5. When should I separate them from the hens?
