How exciting! I wonder how many boat chickens are out there?

There is a famous chicken sailing around the world right now named Monique! Her owner received her as a gift in the Canary Islands when she was 3 months old I believe.

Other than Monique, I haven't seen any others! If you find more please let me know!

I'm the only one in my social group/work/etc. that has chickens so no one can really relate to my stories but I've been showing everyone this thread because it's just too cool! I can't wait to hear about further updates and adventures! It will be interesting to see if you can find out her actual breed or mix.

Thanks so much @adrikeen! I will be sure to continue to keep you updated on Gertrude's first mate training! I'm working on a diaper situation right now so she doesn't poop all over the deck lol.
