Our kitten was in the room where I keep the incubator and he must have been playing with the power strip and turned it off. It was off for less than an hour but the temp dropped to 88. How much damage do you think he did?
it likely didnt hurt them, just because the incubator temp was 88 the egg temp takes a while to cool.the embryos do generate heat when they are farther along,so they dont cool relatively quickly
also,i would like to add, that you can break a cat from turning off an incubator by docking its tail ................... approximately two inches behind its ears.
Haha....hes not usually allowed in that room, he snuck in there when I was in and I didnt realize.....i came back, naughty kitty sitting there and incubator off.....
