Our kitten was in the room where I keep the incubator and he must have been playing with the power strip and turned it off. It was off for less than an hour but the temp dropped to 88. How much damage do you think he did?

I would THINK for that short a period of time they would be okay? After all, the mother hen doesnt sit on them 24/7. Just my opinion.

it likely didnt hurt them, just because the incubator temp was 88 the egg temp takes a while to cool.the embryos do generate heat when they are farther along,so they dont cool relatively quickly

also,i would like to add, that you can break a cat from turning off an incubator by docking its tail ................... approximately two inches behind its ears.
