I used to catch catfish in the rivers. Bullheads also. I did like eating them since there were no small bones in the flesh, like a Carp. or Northern. Walleye,,,,, well everyone knows why its the #1 choice.
I ate farm raised catfish, from a restaurant, and did not like it. The fish was too rich. I gather that it was because it was fed plenty to grow big, quickly, and resulted growing FAT. :idunno
How do your catfish compare to wild caught ones of same variety??

They are almost the same taste depending how you prepared it. I ❤ both because I raise them.
