Cayuga layed her first egg!**PICS**

A female Cayuga duck that I got from a breeder last summer just started laying eggs about a week ago

, the first one was jet black, the others have been a dark greyish color. She has been laying everyday for the past week. My hens stopped laying for the winter and havn't started up again but this little duck just keeps on laying them . Havn't eatin' one yet, has anyone tried duck eggs? But if they're fertile, the bator is getting set up again for another season

aww she's a cute momma - I also have a cayuga female that took some time off but has been laying an egg a day for about a week now - her eggs are a pale green color I think hers are fertile so I have set the bator up to hatch for the first time - hope I get it right LOL
