Centipede Thing?

    There is a wierd centipede-looking thing but it's legs do't look like a house centipede. It's black, I reckon it's about and inch long and it's also black with yellow outlines? There are really many of them. They seem to be attracted to ginger. My grandpa dumped some ginger that he didn't finish or something and then like 50 of them came and ate it. Then the centipedes all died. I wanted my chicken to eat them, but she spit it out right after that.

    I'll get one as soon as I see. I guess we double killed them with the ginger. The rest are crawling about but I can't see them.

    This time of the year catepillars comes out, but not sure if that what you got pictures helps!!

    Google millipede there are lots of photos of what you described, mabe you can find more info on them that way.
