Our very handsome Partridge Cochin cockerel, Meatball, is a lovely guy with people, but a brute when it comes to my Dorking boys, who definitely need to stay here because they are for breeding. Meatball was a "packing peanut" and we fully intended to keep him, but I'm afraid he's just too aggressive with the other cockerels. =( I have no idea what the standard is for this breed, so I can't answer any questions about that. If he was our only cockerel, he would definitely be staying. The kids love him and have no problem sweeping him into their arms and carrying him around--they will surely miss him. Is there anybody here in Vermont who would like to come pick him up and take him home? I won't be shipping him anywhere. Thanks! (1st picture taken a few weeks ago, second picture taken when he was about 4 or so months old).
