I am 24 hours after my switch to nipple waterers and it went seamlessly. I have 14 1 month olds in an 8' trough in my basement and switched them over to a 5gal bucket with 3 nipple fittings on the bottom. I took their other waterer out vcold turkey as it constantly had poop in it and they were spilling water all over thebrooder making it stink. I have seen all of them use it but my smart Sussex girls were the first to give it a go. This is the best investment I have made in a while. The water stays clean, the brooder stays dry, the basement doesn't stink. I hope this encourages others to make the switch.

I just got some in the mail today, can't wait to try them. My Quail picked up on drinking out of a rabbit waterer in about 10 seconds and they were 2 months old. So I know the chickens will get it.
