I changed Roo's in my Buff Orph pen and my Barred Rock pen and moved all the chickens around into breeding pens. Since then they have quit laying. I know moving them will effect their laying, but it's been a month almost. Could the roo change affect them also? I finally got 1 BR egg today, but still nothing from the other 3 BR's or from the BO's.

Quote:We had about the same results when we separated ours into pens for breeding. They didn't stop altogether, but, production was cut in half for the four weeks they were locked up. It went back up as soon as we started letting them out to free range again. All I can think of is happy chickens lay more eggs.[IMG]
