I have 10 or so chickens roosting over my dogs' play pen. I have tried everything I can think of to get them to move. I don't like the dogs being in their manure. Not to mention getting it on their feet and carrying it into the house etc....
I was wondering if tieing bags or pie tins or something up in the tree would scare them out of there. I live in the woods there's literally 100s if not 1000s of trees for them to go to. I am really looking for new ideas...please help!!

Hmmm...interesting. My chickens roost in the rafters of their coop...but I know pie tins scare away most other birds.

Maybe a tarp over the xpen and collect the manure for the garden.
