Charity- animals for 3rd world countries?

Anyone buy animals for people in the 3rd world.

I'm curious if it's legit and and if you can recommend an organization?

yes its legit and a good one is Heifer International

you can send a lot of different animals from them.

I've been hearing all sorts of depressing statistics about poverty/famine around the world. Thinking that rather than buy candy and trinkets I might celebrate Christmas by trying to do some good.

Yep, there are also groups that help set up aquaponic bucket units (grows fish and a garden while conserving water).
