    Does not mean he is not dominique, but he does have a single comb. Where did you get him?

    i got him from a farm in greencastle, he was only few weeks old, i got some pullets at the same time, what do you think he is, he might be crossed with something.

    Could be a dominique with strait comb. barred plymouth rock or even barred American Holland. Cuckoo marans also possible. Where in US is farm.?.

    the farm i got him from is in greencastle, indiana. about 30 miles west of indianapolis. the farm does have marans, and auraconas. the farm is not a commercial hatchery they just sell chicks in the spring, and chickens throughout the year.
