    thanks! I am super excited about them! I love gamefowl. The roos are beautiful and the hens are great setters!

    They are cute! It's amazing how fast they grow up. Is that grain you use as a substrate? Does it work well? Mine sometimes eat their shavings so maybe it would work well for them.

    Is that grain you use as a substrate? Does it work well? Mine sometimes eat their shavings so maybe it would work well for them.

    It's actually hog food. It's corn and soybean ground up very fine. We have two feeder hogs right now and the feed store guy told us that a lot of people buy it to feed their chickens so I've been giving it to mine, makes it easier to only have to buy one kind of feed. It's cheap too, $16 for a 100 lb bag.​
