    Ocellated turkeys are gorgeous birds.There was a pair on Craigslist a while back, but they were taxidermy, and they wanted something like 1500.00 apiece.Apparently you can go on turkey hunts in the Yucatan and have them stuffed to bring home. I wonder what a living bird would cost?

    Edit cause I mispelled Ocellated. Had to look them up after I saw the picture.

    Oh my goodness that is one georgeous bird! I don't know whether to drool and pine or go paint my midget whites and pretend.

    I read up ocellated turkeys is one of the most difficult species to keep,breed and to be raised...
