Hi, eveyone! I am a relatively new chicken mama, though having grown up on a farm.I am a 'small time' chicken gal with an keen interest in heritage breeds. My flock includes Cochins, Ameraucana, Sillies, Rhode Island Reds, and Orpingtons- also 2 kids, 3 cats, and a dog! And currently incubating a dozen silver gray dorkings....
I have been glued to BYC since i my first incling that I might be interested in chickens!

There's a lot of great peeps here! Feel free to ask lots of questions. But most of all, make yourself at home. I'm so glad you decided to join the BYC family. I look forward to seeing you around the run.
