Northern Cali Gal with 3 lovely, and huge personalities, chickens. Unfortunately 2 are Roos. [IMG] I cannot keep them but terrified to give them away. They are not KFC material. Lol. Any suggestions?

BaLoo is a blue bantam and Dulce is a Blonde. BaLoo has issues. He thinks I'm a hen and keeps trying to do his wiggle dance on my feet. He does love to snuggle though!!! Dulce is afraid of being picked up but once in your lap he stretches out to be rubbed on.

Any suggestions on where to advertise them would be appreciated. [IMG]

Ty. [IMG] they travel well too. Lol. I took them with me to Tahoe because I didn't have a set up to leave them for a week in Sacramento alone. Pine cones and needles were a new experience ....[IMG] as well as me chasing after them to avoid getting pitch on their feet.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Cute chickens! TwoCrows gave you some good links to find homes, you might also try places like your local Craigslist, feed store bulletin boards (some feed stores will actually take chickens) local 4-H clubs etc, if you screen homes you can sometimes find people looking for a flock rooster or project bird.

Ty Kelsie [IMG] yes I'm looking at those links. It's going to be hard to give up BaLoo. I live Dulce but BaLoo is my little side kick. Any suggestions on ways around keeping a Roo in city limits?
