Chick’n Aid Chicken Supplement in 90-100F - throw it out?

I just found three bags of this stored where they shouldn't have been. That means they have been baking in 90-100F temps for many months. The package says to store it below 70F.

Should I throw them out? Do high temps render this dangerous or just less effective?

I would assume, just less effective. Is it a supplement, not medication?
Yes, just a supplement. We add it to the water when it's 90+ but right now they're going through a bad molt and fowl pox so I was going to add it in. I have one bag that was in the fridge so that one is good but these were in a box where they shouldn't have been.

I think they are worth saving. A little less effective is better than none at all.
 
What do the directions instruct??
If I recall correctly, is not something you would give totally/exclusively everyday.
Just like ACV, once per week is OK.
I never added anything to my chickens water. I also don't live in dessert high heat..
I know the correct spelling, I use desert, when referring to something like this.

Call the manufacturer and see what they say. You are only putting a little of that in their drinking water. It is not like they are getting any real nutrition from it. I don't know how well those vitamins will hold up in those temperatures. I would not be very hopeful for any of those bacteria would make it.

I doubt it would be dangerous to use it but I also doubt you would get any real benefit from it. But the manufacturer should know. My guess is that they will tell you to toss it and buy new.

Salt, sodium (? - listed as separate ingredient), potassium, and ascorbic acid - I guess the first three would be stable? Highly doubt the stability of the ascorbic acid.

Can you grit your teeth and just throw it out?

And what made you decide that you needed a supplement, and why picking this particular one?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm going to throw those out just to err on the side of caution, especially since I still have one good bag.

They're going through an awful molt and fowl pox at the same time. They look miserable. I have this on hand because we give it to them when it's very hot in the summer.
 
A guy called the emergency vet late one Saturday night, his cow wasn’t feeling great and he had a bottle of something, not sure what, sitting in the barn window for who knows how long (both very hot and very cold here) so he dosed her with it, now she’s feeling worse, what should he do? Not treat her with the mystery substance?! Probably a good call to toss it!

Bless their hearts. 💕 I’m assuming that you them on a high protein feed during this time, at least 20%? Growing new feathers takes a lot of energy and protein, and then to be fighting fowl pox as well… poor babies!
