I have 4 new chicks, 3 weeks old, 2 jersey giants and 2 ameraucanas. 1 of the ameraucanas is being bullied by the other 3, she does not seem injured but I have put her in a separate container over night, I tried putting her back in today and they started in on her within 2 minutes, I have read a bunch of other people's threads but I wanted to some advice it breaks my heart to have her separated but i can't watch her get beat up. I got a nice outdoor coop that I would like to put them in when they get older, should I just keep her separate for a few days then try again? They are in a pretty large dog crate with the top off and a light on them at about 90 degrees, the isolated chic is in a large storage bin with a red heat lamp same temp. I am new at all this so really appreciate any advice. Also when should I put them in the outdoor coop, we live in florida so not an issue with cold right now and could also put the light in there. Thanks so much, this is really upsetting.
