I was worried that my new frizzle chicks wouldn’t get along with my older silkie chick. Cause I tend to worry over nothing. Someone on here reassured me that they can’t do any damage to each other at this age.
One night was especially cold, and my silkie’s brooder has a better heat source. I had to put the younger frizzles in there with her whether anyone liked it or not lol. Since then they’re kept together without any issue. In fact, the frizzles have taken a great liking to my silkie. It looks like they bonded after I had to vacuum the room they’re in- they huddled up to her tight in fear. Here’s some silly pics to show of them :
(FYI I promise I clean their area! The mess you see is after I cleaned it the night before, so that was all made in one morning)
Also I hope no one really minds if I keep referring to my silkie as a female. I know I don’t have DNA evidence or anything concrete. It’s just for simplicity’s sake that I refer to it as her
