Was told they thought it was cochin and female, but the person has a reputation for being wrong (found out after I purchased the chick).

Should I be worried about it? Will the chick be harmed because of it?

    YES COCHINS HAVE VULUTRE HOCKS!

thats a barred cochin, vulture hocks will not harm the bird, it simply means they are not show quality [IMG]

no harm some breeds such as the d'uccle and sultan have to have those feathers it's part of their standered (they have to have vulture hocks to be shown if they dont its a disquilifaction)
