Are all chicks yellow?
Mine are now a month old, and they look to pretty much have their feathers in now, and are pretty much white....does that mean my chickens, as adults, will be white? It's hard to say what they are, being "classroom chickens" they are a mixed breed, so I'm not sure what they are. I'm just curious if these chicks are going to stay white?

At a month old, and full of fluffy feathers, do you think they still need a heat lamp?

They don't tend to hang around the lamp much, but when I shut it off, they do cuddle together. They are in my garage. So it's hard for me to tell.

Not all chicks are yellow. If yours have feathered out white they will most likely be white. I would keep a heat lamp on them until they are around 8 weeks old. We're still getting having cold nights here in the midwest.

No not all chicks r yellow lol it just depends on their breed ,,,,they cud stay white.Dont swithch the lamp off just get a lower wattage bulb cause its obviously cold when u turn it off
