    Hi,
I was wondering about some colors on my chicks I just got.
    1. These are Hamburgs. I'm pretty sure I have a Blue and a Splash. Am I correct?

    2. Silkies. Left to right. Blue, Splash, Black. Am I correct? Thanks!

Close up of the splash. It has the biggest poof of them all!

Hamburgs look like both are splashes. Silkies are blue splash black.

Thank you! I was hoping to get a blue on the Hamburgs. One is blue on top, with a white belly. But the other is like completely white, with a little grey here and there. I was thinking the white one to be a splash for sure. Strange that they ate differently colored like that.

The darker one will probably feather out to have more blue than the lighter one

Looks about right. The "black" silkie might turn out dark blue.

Thank you! I have ten silkies, that were ordered as Blue. Some have me confused as to whether they are blue, or splash! I guess time will tell, and hopefully the pretty ones are girls!
