this is one of my little BO's (supposed to be a pullet, can't you tell). IT (no name yet) now seems to be a LAP CHICKEN, and cries anytime I try to take him off my lap and put him back in the brooder! He is about 5 weeks old.

I put Rose in the RIR contest as well....

    Meet Rose...

here she is the day we brought her home. I am guessing she was about a week old.

she is just shy of 3 weeks old in this picture.

Here she is 4 days later... 3 weeks old.

Here is Mango the Cornish Rock.
We bought her at Trator Central in the bin with the Pullets.
Someone must have moved her from the cornish rock bin. [IMG]

Mango is a BIG GIRL NOW!
We have nicknamed her MANGOzilla! [IMG]
she is almost 3 weeks old in this picture (which is also my avatar)

Here are our 3 chicks. Mango, Missi and Rose.
Missi is a GSL. Rose is a RIR.
They were 3 weeks old in this one

And here is Mangozilla again at 5 weeks old

This is also at 5 weeks..,, it's all the chicks and my year old Cochin hen.
She was about to take a peck at Rose.
They seldom are near each other and after the peck,
it has continued to be so.

And lastly, here is my daughter Celeste with "her flock"
when they were just over 5 weeks old... 5-30-08

This is an old picture (2007), but it is hands down my favorite chick-pic. I call it 'Diving In'. [IMG] [IMG]
