Alachua County Feed & Seed is having our annual chick days weekend this Friday and Saturday March 13th and 14th. We will have plenty of chicks available. We will have sexed pullets in the following breeds... Light Brahmas, Silver Laced Wyandottes, and Rhode Island Reds. We will also be getting some straight run chicks of the following breeds... Black Australorps, Golden Comets, Barred Rocks, and Araucanas. All pullets are $2.99, and the straight run chicks are $1.50

All chick supplies and feed will be on sale for 10% off. The highlight of the weekend will be our guest speaker. Dr. Richard Miles, a professor at the University of Florida in the animal science department will be on hand to speak to any interested customers about all aspects of raising poultry. Dr. Miles is an animal nutritionist at the University of Florida. He specializes in poultry nutrition. He will be there with us Friday afternoon and most of the day on Saturday. If you need any more information just ask & I will be glad to answer any question for you.

I forgot to mention that all our birds come from Mt Healthy Hatcheries, in case anyone wants to know their origin.
